Job Description: We are looking for a proactive and responsible Safety Officer/ Manager with 2–4 years of experience to oversee and implement health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices at the project site. The role involves ensuring compliance with safety standards, conducting regular safety inspections, and promoting a strong safety culture among all site personnel. The ideal candidate should have sound knowledge of safety regulations, risk management, and incident prevention, along with strong coordination and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor safety policies, procedures, and HSE plans at the site.
• Ensure compliance with statutory safety norms, company safety standards, and client
  requirements.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards.
• Prepare and maintain safety documentation, reports, permits, and registers.
• Ensure proper usage of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all site staff and
  workers.
• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness training programs.
• Investigate accidents, near-miss incidents, and unsafe conditions; prepare incident
  reports and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with site teams, contractors, and management to enforce safe working
  practices.
• Ensure safety signage, barricading, and emergency preparedness are maintained at the
  site.
• Liaise with auditors and authorities during safety inspections and audits.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and support zero-incident objectives.
  Skills & Qualifications:

Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Industrial Safety, Fire & Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, or
  Safety Management; any additional safety certification will be an advantage
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards, statutory regulations, and compliance
  requirements
• Proficient in safety reporting, incident investigation, and documentation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong hazard identification and risk assessment skills
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with site teams
• High situational awareness with the ability to make quick and effective safety decisions
